The position will be responsible for leading, managing and mentoring leaders and staff as well as coordinating special logistical projects with the Account Management team and other senior managers.  The successful candidate will provide strategic oversight for all East Coast operations, including safety, warehouse, crating, and transportation functions, ensuring operational excellence, efficiency, and scalability across multiple facilities.  This will also include leading the integration and onboarding of newly acquired facilities and teams by standardizing processes, systems, and performance expectations in alignment with the company’s operational model.  This position requires someone with at least 7 years of effective people management experience, and 10 years of warehouse, project management and/or logistics experience in an art focused environment.

Salary: $185,000 - $250,000

The ideal candidates will have 3-5 years’ experience working with storage, as well as collection management knowledge, and will be comfortable moving and handling a wide range of art objects. Responsibilities include installation and de-installation of artworks, along with proper packing of artworks for transport or storage, and the careful preparation and execution of job related paperwork. Hourly Wage: $28 - $32

A nation-wide storage and logistics company is looking for a Crew Chief to scope, lead and support art handlers on complex projects primarily as they relate to offsite field service work out of their Washington, DC location. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability for team leadership, outstanding communication skills, and excellent technical knowledge as it applies to installing, packing, and moving a wide range of art objects. They will have experience working in field services and the storage/ collection management industry and will be comfortable conducting site visits to estimate, labor, materials and equipment needed for successful completion of projects within budget. The Crew Chief will be comfortable communicating across areas of the business as well as with clients and third-party contractors. Working alongside the team as an Art Handler/ Driver, as and when needed, is an expectation of the role. Some weekend and evening work may apply.
